LAHORE – PML-N Minority Wing on Tuesday held a protest rally against the anti-Islam movie and demanded exemplary punishment for the producers of the same.
The protestors were carrying placards and banners displaying remarks against the act of the makers of the anti-Islam movie, which contains sacrilegious material maligning Islam and the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The participants chanted slogans to condemn the anti-Islam movie and demanded of the international community to act for preventing such happenings in future. Tariq Masih, in his address to the gathering, said every Christian was opposed to the movie and also those who were trying to destroy the world peace by resorting to such acts.
Tariq said all members of the minorities in Pakistan realise their responsibilities towards maintaining peace in the country. “Through rallies against the movie, they are conveying their sentiments to the international community to check the attempts aimed at maligning religious personalities of any faith,” he added.
