PTI old guards not tolerating “opportunists”: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that some people are leaving his party and would keep doing so in the near future as they were “opportunists” and PTI’s oldguards are wary of them.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Khan said that joining and leaving of individuals would affect PTI as it would wing election on ideological basis. He, however, said that those who left his party had not joined any other party. “Our ideological workers are not ready to tolerate “opportunists” in the party”, he added.
The PTI chief said that his party was battling with two media cells of Punjab and federal governments.
Khan vowed that his party would make Pakistan welfare state. He said that the PTI would start its Wazristan march from Oct,6 from Islamabad.
He said that a US university has supported his view of drone targeting civilians in Pakistan’s tribal region and proving counter productive.
Khan claimed that the US had government’s approval in launching drone attacks in Pakistan.
Commenting on President Asif Ali Zardari speech to the General Assembly of the United Nations, he said that the president should address his nation as he often remain in hiding in the country. “He is now meeting Hillary and other Americans so that they could launch him for another term in the government,” Khan said.
