Sukkur journalists enjoy Metro bus ride

LAHORE – A 31-member delegation Sukkur Press Club of journalists traveled on Metro bus from Gajjumata to Azadi Chowk.

Speaking on the occasion, visiting delegation head Lala Asad Pathan said: “Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif deserved credit for providing international standard, affordable and rapid travelling facilities to the citizens. Shahbaz has won public support through the launch of public welfare projects like Aashiyana Housing Scheme, Daanish School, Educational Endowment Fund, laptop and solar lamps scheme.”  He stressed that other provinces should also initiate such projects. He wished other provinces also had chief ministers like Shahbaz Sharif. He said that metro bus is a unique project in the history of the country. The district administration hosted a reception for the delegation at Hazoori Bagh which was attended by District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal, Punjab DGPR Athar Ali Khan and other officers.
