Kalam-e-Iqbal contest at LCWU

LAHO RE - Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) on Wednesday organised inter collegiate competition of reciting Kalam-e-Iqbal. Iqbal Salah-ud-Din, the grandson of Allama Muhammad Iqbal was the chief guest whereas LCWU Vice Chancellor Dr Sabiha Mansoor was the guest of honour on the occasion. The students from nine different colleges and universities participated in the event. Sehar Rubab of Government Islamia College Cantt won the first prize while Sidra Anwar from Government Girls College Gulberg stood second. Postponed BEd exam on Nov 1: Punjab University Examinations Department has notified that the Practical Skill in Teaching Examination of BEd, 2nd Annual Exam 2010 and Annual Exam 2011, which was postponed due to holiday on October 24, 2011 will now be held on November 1, 2011. Time and venue will remain the same as already notified.
