Khusro’s son remanded for five days

LAHORE – Judicial Magistrate Imran Yousaf on Wednesday awarded five-day physical remand to Barki Police of Shan Muhammad Khan Khusro, the son of former Lahore Commissioner Khusro Parvez Khan who is allegedly involved in a murder case.
Barki Police produced the accused before the magistrate seeking 14-day physical remand on a plea to recover the weapon used in murder of Hamza Elahi. However, the judge awarded only five-day physical remand, directing Barki police to produce the accused again on July 2.
According to the FIR registered by Fazal Elahi, the father of the deceased, in Barki Police under Section 302 against Shan Khusro, his son Hamza left the home after making a phone call to Shan. After that, he received a phone call that his son had been gunned down in DHA Phase VI.
