LAHORE – After failure of yet another round of talks with Health Department high-ups, young doctors vowed to continue protest until issuance of notification regarding their revised service structure.
YDA Punjab spokesman Dr Nasir Abbas said that the government had rejected all legitimate demands and doctors had no other option except to continue strike for their rights.
Terming doctors’ strike illegal and uncalled for, Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Health Khawaja Salman Rafiq said that thousands of poor patients were suffering and doctors should reopen OPDs within three days.
