LAHORE: The World Islamic Organization (WIO) has expressed deep sorrow on the use of chemical weapons in Syria that killed thousands of innocent people. WIO Chairman Shaik Mazhar Shafi said the international conspiracy must be unearthed.
He said there are some forces that are working for vested interests in different Muslim countries. The Muslim world should realise the conspiracies against them and should resist all of them being united, he added. The chairman also seconded the statement of imame-kaaba that condemned the killings in Syria. He said the imam might be an international ambassador for peace representing the Muslim ummah. Hafiz Muhammad Ishaq, Yameen Siddiqi and others attended the meeting.–Staff Reporter
