Youth shot dead over old enmity in Lahore

Unknown armed men gunned down a youth and injured another over old enmity here in Lahore on Friday.

According to details, Laiq Ahmed along with his friend was present in workshop for repair of motorcycle in Sunnat Nagar area of Lahore, when three armed motorcyclists arrived at the scene and started indiscriminate firing.
As a result Laiq Ahmed was killed on the spot and his companion Sikandar Nabi sustained serious wounds.
It should be mentioned that the deceased and his friends had shot dead a citizen in 2009 and he was recently released from prison on bail. Police feared that the shooting incident was the outcome of same dispute.
