LAHORE – President Asif Ali Zardari’s sister and MNA Dr Faryal Talpur spent a busy day at the Governor’s House on Monday, meeting with party officials from different districts of Punjab.
On the third day of her stay in Lahore, she met with party office-bearers from Attock, Jhang and Sargodha districts to listen to their problems and to have first hand knowledge of the exiting political realities there.
According to insiders, the party’s organisational matters also came under discussion besides the names of potential candidates who could be fielded in the upcoming general elections.
As per sources, Faryal also settled some intra-party disputes and issued instructions to local party leaders to make preparations for the upcoming elections.
