Two brothers shot dead by brother-in-law

LAHORE – Two men were gunned down by their brother-in-law over some domestic dispute in Baghbanpura area, police said on Monday. The killer managed to escape from the crime scene.
Police investigators said that Imtiaz Ali visited the residence of his in-laws situated in Shah Ghous Peer Chowk area to reconcile with his estranged wife. The man exchanged hot words with his in-laws when they refused to send Saima Bibi along with him.
Later, he got infuriated, took out his gun and opened straight fire at his in-laws. As a result, Faisal and Ateeq, brothers of Saima Bibi, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a local hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead. The police have removed the bodies to the morgue. Further investigations were underway till filing of this report.
11 INJURED AS VAN HITS TREE: At least 11 people were wounded, a few of them seriously, when a passenger van smashed into a roadside tree at the Raiwind Road, rescue workers said on Monday.  The passenger van was coming to Lahore when, all of a sudden, the driver lost his control and the van smashed into a roadside tree. As a result, 11 passengers were wounded. The rescue workers rushed to the spot soon after the accident and shifted the injured to a local hospital, where the condition of a few of the injured was reported to be serious.
