PHP reunites 5 kids to families

LAHORE – The Punjab Highway Patrol claimed to have reunited five children to their relatives and recovered stolen wood and electrical wires worth over Rs 115,000 in separate incidents on Sunday.
A 12-year-old child Muhammad Salman was found from Phattian Wala, Bahawalpur, a seven-year-old child from Khushab, a deaf and dump boy from Chakwal, a 13-year-old boy from GT Road from Jhelum and a lost child namely Qadir of Sialkot.
The spokesman said three children were handed over to their legal heirs whereas two were shifted to welfare centers.
He said the PHP also seized stolen wood and electrical wires worth thousands of rupees from Layyab and TT Singh and arrested the culprits namely Shahid Iqbal, Naeem, Sher Khan, Rustam, Ramzan, Aamir and Muhammad Abdullah.
