LAHORE-Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz on Tuesday came down hard on Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, saying that the appointment of a finance minister only a few days before the annual budget was reflective of his despotic mindset. Addressing a news conference at his Punjab Assembly chamber, the opposition leader said that it Shahbaz Sharif had given the portfolio of finance to Kamran Michael only days before announcement of the budget and now he had repeated his earlier action by appointing Rana Asif as new finance minister just before the budget. Raja said that chief minister should have taken the cabinet into confidence before this appointment. He warned the chief minister would be thrown out of the Assembly if the coming Punjab budget came as a burden on the poor people.
