LAHORE: Two people were killed over domestic dispute in different parts of the provincial metropolis, police said Friday.
A man shot dead his 60-year-old father-in-law in the Baghbanpura police limits and escaped. The deceased, identified as Muhammad Siddique, was on his way to a factory when Irfan ambushed him, killing him on the spot.
According to initial investigations, the killer visited his in-laws’ house a few days ago to woo his wife back. The police are investigating. In another incident, a man fled away after gunning down his brother-in-law in the Kot Lakhpat area. Police said Mushtaq shot dead Naseer Uddin over a domestic dispute. The body was moved to morgue for autopsy. The police are investigating with no arrest made yet.–Staff Reporter
