For an ordinary Pakistani like myself nothing could be more amusing than seeing the politicians who have brought this wonderful country on the brink of failure now making efforts to conduct an all-parties conference to seek a solution to the problems faced by the country. The coalition of the PPP, the PML-Q, the MQM, and the ANP has been in power for the last four years and is mainly responsible for rampant corruption, loadshedding, inflation, unemployment, targeted killings, maladministration and poor law and order which have resulted in turning the country into a virtually dysfunctional state. It is time they answered for their blunders instead of fooling people under the guise of all-parties conferences.
