Police highhandedness

June 09, 2012

Last night while I was on my way home, I was pulled over by the federal police for routine security check at the f8 chowki. I had all the car documents, my National identity card and driver’s license with me, however they still did not let me go, reasoning that my engine’s chasis number was not too clearly engraved. I had to literally explain them that it was manufacturers fault and not mine. After a 20 minutes argument, they finally cleared me. The whole episode was pretty disappointing for me and I headed home asking myself, is the police for our security or for troubling us?
