The US has been trying to give the impression that it has been giving aid sufficient enough to help Pakistan cope with its economic crisis and military needs. This is a false perception since we have not even been reimbursed the promised money under the Coalition Support Fund. The problem with the US is that while it wants and expects too much from Pakistan, it isn’t even ready to give what it owes us. That’s not how alliances work.
