Terrorists are wreaking havoc on Pakistan and ripping it apart. Every day we hear of scores of Pakistani soldiers and civilians getting killed at the hands of terrorists. Would any leadership in the world respond to the slaying of its countrymen so spinelessly and shamelessly as the Pakistani leadership? Terrorists, insurgents, militants with extremist ideologies and target killers are thriving in Pakistan because of the scared leadership that does not have the will and commitment to confront and eliminate them from the country. Our leaders are more interested in prolonging their tenure. Why can’t we take terrorists head on and establish the writ of the state with over half a million, armed-to-the-teeth standing armed, naval and air forces? The nation needs a decisive and incorruptible leadership that is committed to protecting and defending its territorial integrity and national sovereignty at all costs.
