A retrograde step

It is really sad to know that in the 21st century we have people in the country who are opposing polio eradication programs despite the fact that Pakistan is one of the countries in the world still fighting the disease. Needless to say, polio is more devastating than any other disease for children as it makes them not only paralyze to live their whole life but also makes their families share their sufferings.
It is also a responsibility of the parents to not let their children suffer, and must think logically that polio eradication campaign is not part of the war Pakistan is forced to fight. We need to provide our children with safe and healthy future which is not possible unless polio is completely eradicated from Pakistan. And for that we should support the government in its efforts, and must not create illogical fuss to put the lives of our children in danger.
