Prime Minister is reported to have said that politicians can make the ‘impossible’ possible. The acid test for this top claim is to resurrect Kalabagh dam from the burial ground as announced earlier by the Prime Minister as former Minister of Water and Power. If he can make Kalabagh dam possible from an impossible situation one would believe in the Prime Minister’s claim otherwise it would amount to a ring of smoke spoken in thin air. He is largely responsible for pushing the country into a dark age of loadshedding as bitter fruit of his tenure as Minister of Water and Power. Since now he has been catapulted into the chair of Prime Minister. It ought to stand firm on his slogan of politicians making an impossible to be possible. If the Prime Minister is able to lift the heavy stone of Kalabagh dam he will be considered as Hercules and brave son of the soil otherwise it would be taken as bluster of a former petty property dealer. If he can deliver on Kalabagh dam his party can be ensured another tenure of government. Otherwise, all the false promises that are made in bad faith would trounce the Pakistan Peoples Party in next election as a Peoples Plunder party.
