We have another prime minister. Would he write that ‘famous’ letter to the Swiss authorities for reopening graft cases against Asif Ali Zardari? One fails to understand the importance this piece of paper has acquired. In the first place, why do we have a graft-accused president? Now that we have him at the helm of affairs, why not wait and let the buck pass to another president with the coming of the new election and then sue the former. The hurry showed by the SC at times looks irrelevant especially when the country is embroiled in unprecedented problems. I would suggest to the honourable SC to hold its horses and let the country pass through these 100 days until the fresh elections automatically seal the fate of the incumbent government for not performing.
