LAHORE – An eight-member Australian parliamentarian delegation will visit the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore on Sunday (tomorrow).
The delegation led by Senator John Hogg comprises Senator Sean Edwards, Nick Champion MP, Senator David Johnston, Graham Perrett MP, Jill Hall MP, Adviser to the President Julia Clifford and Federal Agent Andy Davies.
They will meet with UVAS Vice Chancellor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and senior faculty members to discuss the AUS-AID-funded Agriculture Sector Linkages Programme.
Also, the Quality Enhancement Cell of the UVAS, in collaboration with the Learning Innovation Division, Higher Education Commission (HEC), will arrange five-day workshop on ‘Course Design, Assessment and Micro-Teaching’ from September 3 to 7. Twenty-five faculty members will participate in the workshop aimed at enhancing the professional skills of teachers.
