Bomb rumour jolts students, teachers

FEROZWALA - A rumour regarding the planting of a bomb in the Poly Technical College located on the Bati Chowk spread much panic and chaos among the students, teachers and the other local people on Saturday.
A phone caller told the principal that some body had planted a bomb in the building. The college was immediately got vacated by the authority. 
On seeing huge rush of students and teachers the shopkeepers also closed their shops and came on the Lahore Road causing suspension of traffic for an hour.
Meanwhile, the bomb disposal squad arrived at the site and gave green signal that there was no bomb in the building. As such the routine work again started, yet fear and harassment was still in the minds of the locals.
BUS OVERTURNS: As many as 15 participants of a marriage ceremony sustained injuries when the vehicle carrying them overturned near Motorway Interchange on Saturday.
The injured were taken to the DHQ Hospital while the five seriously injured persons were shifted to Mayo Hospital Lahore.
