NOORPUR THAL - Assistant Commissioner Ch Muhammad Sarwar Gujjar vowed to curb hoarding of essential items in Sastar Ramazan Bazaar.

He also deputed TMO Raja Zahoor Ahmad at Sasta Ramazan Bazaar. The AC directed officers concerned to leave no stone unturned to stop hoarding as it was the root cause of artificial price-hike.
Expressing deep regret over hoarding, he said that holy month of Ramazan was meant for gaining Allah’s goodwill but certain traders forget Allah to make profits. Following the directions of the AC, price magistrates Fateh Ullah Khan and Raja Zahoor Ahmad remained in field. They conducted 28 raids, fined 14 shopkeepers, registered FIR’s against and imposed fine up to Rs29,000.
