LAHORE – The City Traffic Police Lahore (CTPL) have issued a traffic plan in connection with the construction of Metro Bus System on Ferozepur Road on Tuesday.

The CTPL spokesman said the traffic flow had increased on Ferozepur Road and its adjoining arteries due to the construction of Bas Rapid Transit System route. According to the traffic plan, the commuters coming from Kasur should use Lahore Ring Road to go Gujranwanla or they should use Motorway. Traffic coming from Kasur should turn to right from Ghazi Road Crossing and should go via Bhatta Chowk, Ring Road, Ravi Bridge and then go to Shahdra.
He said the commuters should go to Ghazi Road Crossing and then to Ring Road or to Icchra Canal Bridge via Dharampura bridge and turn to left and use Allama Iqbal Raod to arrive in Lahore Railway Station from Kasur.
Similarly, the commuters going to Kasur via Lahore from Gujranwala/Sheikhupura should turn from Niazi Chowk to left and via Ring Road go to Ghazi Road in front of Lahore Airport to Ferozpur Road and to Kasur.
In the same way, citizens can go Babu Sabu Thokar Niaz Baig, Canal Bank Raod, Shah Di Khoi, and from there to Akbar Chowk, Peco Road to Ferozpur Road.
Besides, people can go from New Campus to Barkat R/O, from Kalma Chowk to Ferozpur Road. And from Azadi Chowk to Railway Station, Shimla Pahari, canal Bridge and from upper mall canal to Gulberge/from cant to Feruzpur Road and then Kasur.
