LAHORE - In a major development in the history of bureaucracy, the federal government on Thursday changed the existing nomenclature of District Management Group (DMG) to Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). As per the order issued by Punjab Chief Secretary Nasir Mahmood Khosa, all references to the DMG In any rule, order, resolution or instructions shall construed as references to the PAS. The Pakistan Administrative Service members would now be required to use suffix PAS to their names after this change.
