PESHAWAR – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Governor, Barrister Masood Kausar has summoned the Provincial Assembly’s budget session on June 8 (Friday).

The provincial lawmakers will meet at pm at the building of the Provincial Assembly of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ANP-led government would table its fifth consecutive budget. Provincial Finance Minister Humayyun Khan will present the budget for the year 2012-13.
The session would be held amid tight security arrangements in and around the assembly building.
The Speaker KP Assembly Kiramatullah Khan would preside over the session. Before, budget session, KP Assembly Speaker Kiramatullah Khan has invited the parliamentary leaders of the political parties on June 6 so as to discuss and finalize arrangements for coming budget session.
In the scheduled meeting, Provincial Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Arshad Abdullah will represent government, while parliamentary leaders of PML-N, PML-Q, PPP, PPP-S and JUI-F will represent their concerned parties. The treasury benches would take opposition into confidence on security arrangements for budget session.
Similarly, on June 7, a joint meeting of the parliamentary leaders of ANP-PPP would also be held.

The coalition government of ANP and PPP would present its fifth consecutive budget. They would also security arrangements for the session.
