QUETTA - Expressing regret over the killing of Nawabzada Haqmal Raisani, Thai Consul General in Karachi Wichai Siriujin has said the Balochistan government is investigating the murder and it will bring the culprits to justice soon.
Flanked by Balochistan CM’s brother Nawabzada Siraj Raisani at Sarawan House on Thursday, the envoy told the media the Balochistan government was investigating the murder of Haqmal who was killed in hand grenade blast in Mastung last year.
“An inquiry tribunal under a Balochistan High Court judge is carrying on the probe,” he said, adding that the killing of Haqmal Raisani and his mother of Thai origin was regrettable.
The diplomat said he had met with Additional IG, home secretary and other high-ranking officials and will brief his government about the progress on investigation. “We will wait for the probe report,” he said.
