ISLAMABAD - Taking serious notice of the letter written by Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat, the NAB spokesman made it loud and clear that the department was probing into the serious allegations against former federal housing minister and they had nothing personal against him.
Faisal Saleh Hayat has leveled serious allegations against National Accountability Bureau’s investigation team in the said letter. It is pertinent to mention here that NAB Rawalpinidi was probing into the alleged irregular appointments in Pak PWD Department and some other charges against Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat and there was no point of victimisation or harassment whatsoever against him. The spokesman made it loud and clear that the accusation of harassment from Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat would not deter them and the inquiry would be taken to its logical conclusion and if found guilty he would be proceeded against as per NAB laws.
Meanwhile, sources in the NAB Rawalpindi informed TheNation that they have received a number of complaints from senior Pak PWD officials against Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat wherein they had also given proofs of his indulgence in irregular practices and flouting of the departmental rules in recruitments and other matters.
Giving details of some of the applicants against the former federal minister the sources said that one Attaul Haq Akhtar Chief Engineer, Mian Masood Akhtar, Fadayat Shah, SM Zahair Khalid and Ch Mohammad Nawaz all Superintendent Engineers in PWD have given written complaints against Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat along with proofs of his irregularities.
