DIR : An Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police in Upper Dir was killed and another official injured when unidentified assailants attacked a police patrolling van in Wari area of the district on the night between Saturday and Sunday, police said on Sunday. The ASI Aminur Rahman was leading a patrolling party that was on a routine patrol in the district. The police van came under fire from unidentified assailants near Suray Pul area in Wari.
