Outlaws rule the roost in Sambrial

SAMBRIAL - The entire city was in the grip of shocking crimes which adds woes to public and disturbs their lives, The Nation has learnt.

The street crimes graph was mounting gradually raising the worries of the locals, especially shopkeepers and traders, who complained that many of their customers were being deprived of their bikes outside their outlets. The gangs of motorcycle snatchers were very active in the city.
Though UC motorcycle squads were deployed in the city but they had failed to help in deduction of crime rates.
Talking to The Nation residents complained about the police for their attitude in registering a case.
The Police have miserably failed in tracing out or arresting the accused involved in such crimes as the people were feeling insecure due to the rising incidents of robbery and theft in city areas.
The citizens has strongly criticised the role of police and called its a exhibiting negligence of them. They said that the law and order was worsened in the city but the authorities were dragging feet over the matter.
Meanwhile, the residents vented their rage over Police, alleging the police station had become a safe haven for outlaws.
They alleged that the Police have miserably failed to take action against these criminals. The socio-religious figures called upon Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif to take serious notice of the situation to ensure protection to the people.
