Family detained for nonpayment of tax

 KAMOKE – The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has sealed a house for 63 hours due to nonpayment of taxes. There were 11 family members including 7 children detained two days in house. Owner of the house, Mukhtar Ahmad, a resident of Harrur Road said that he did not pay only Rs16,000 property tax of three year. He said that all of his family members detained by the Excise Department due to nonpayment of tax. He further said that the people of the area sent daily mails by ladder to them. He said that it was unfair tax that’s why he did not pay. On the other hand, Excise Inspector Rana Suleman said that the department sent him several notices but he didn’t bother it.
