LAKKI MARWAT - Unknown miscreants blew up a boys school in Wanda Zeran village in the limits of Ghaznikhel police station on late Thursday night.
A police official said on Friday that the blast destroyed three classrooms in the school. He said that the blast was carried out with homemade explosives planted along the government boy’s school.
He added that the police registered a case against unknown persons on the report of watchman Khan Sardar and started investigation.
112 teachers promoted: Meanwhile, on the recommendations of the departmental promotion committee another batch of 112 government schoolteachers was promoted to the higher scales.
The promotions have been made on the basis of seniority cum fitness basis.
According to separate notifications issued by ESED provincial director Muhammad Rafiq Khattak, 35 physical education teachers and 39 Arabic teachers and as many theology teachers were promoted to BPS-16 with immediate effect.
