It was also attended by Pakistan Muslim League-Functional District President Sarfraz Junejo and other party leaders including Mubarak Mahar, Zulfikar Qaimkhani, Irfan Guddu Qaimkhani, Nabi Bakhsh Gorchani and Tayyab Arain.
Speaking on the occasion, Raees Jamil Ahmed Bhurgri said that the restoration of the Sindh Local Government Act 1979 is a great success of the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional struggle.
He said that with the restoration of this law, 'one Sindh one system' will be retained at all costs. He said that now the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional along with its allies would get excellent victory in upcoming general elections in Kot Ghulam Mohammad and other constituencies of the province.
On the other hand, it has been announced that Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Nawaz Sharif will soon visit Mirpurkhas district in view of upcoming general elections. During his visit, Nawaz will meet the people of the area in connection with the next general election campaign, said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Mian Amjad Saeed Arain.
He said that after the ensuing dissolution of assemblies, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz would announce its expected election candidates across Sindh.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz patron-in-chief is determined to rid the people of Sindh of poverty, unemployment and crimes, he said.
“The people have fed up with Pakistan People’s Party which has failed to deliver after winning general elections in 2008,” he said adding the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz would foil all the conspiracies being hatched to postpone the next polls. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has got great popularity among the masses and will get massive victory in next general elections, he claimed.
He said that the Pakistan People’s Party-led government has failed to stand by its promised made after winning general elections in 2008. He went on to say that the rulers tried to divide Sindh by introducing Sindh People’s Local Government Act 2012 just to appease its political allies in power which was a conspiracy against Sindhi people.
