Owner sells tenants’ Rs150m cloth

JHANG - The owner of a warehouse has sold tenants’ cloth worth millions of rupees fraudulently in the district.
One Haji Mubark Ali, his brother Muhammad Ashraf and son Hamid Ali, residents of Ward 7 of Jhang city, allegedly deprived dozens of people of the area cloth worth Rs160 million.
The cloth was stored in their warehouse. More than a dozen FIRs have been registered against the accused with Jhang city and Kotawali police stations.
The accused were arrested by the police and sent behind bars. Now the case is being referred to National Accountability Bureau.
The victims purchased rough cloth from power looms and stored in the warehouse of the accused on payment of a fixed amount.
This business was in practice since a long. But the accused sold out the cloth deceitfully without the permission of the owners.
POS HELD: Two proclaimed offenders who were involved in a double murder case were arrested by 18 the Hazari police from Thrimu Head.
