ISLAMABAD - Chairman Steering Committee Pakistan Muslim League-Likeminded Salim Saifullah Khan held a meeting with Ambassador of European Union Lars Gunnar Wigemark and discussed issues of mutual interest, a press release said Thursday.

During the meeting Ambassador assured all possible assistance for construction of Kurram Tangi Dam. He said that EU would play its active role to address economic and energy problems of Pakistan. He while acknowledging Pakistan role in war against terror said that EU valued its relations with Pakistan.
The ambassador urged international community to extend all possible support to Pakistan as stable and peaceful Pakistan was the guarantee of stable and peaceful world, he said.
