PPP suspends Aslam Raisani’s membership

QUETTA – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has suspended party membership of Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani for three months on Thursday for violating party policies.
Talking to journalists, Rafiq Sajjad Zehri,President PPP Kalat Division said that Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani had been violating the party policies since last four years.
He said that Raisani had been less concerned in addressing the issues of PPP workers who had voted him to power ,adding, that he was spending less time in Quetta upon which his membership had been suspended.
However, Zehri said that in accordance with the party rules he was issued notices twice for violating party policies.
“After consultation with PPP Balochistan President Sadiq Umrani his party membership has been suspended for three months and he has been asked to submit an explanation,” he said, adding, that due to policies of Raisani PPP had become weak in the province.
On the other hand, the Deputy Parliamentary leader of PPP in Balochistan Assembly, Ali Madad Jattak has said that Rafiq Sajjad Zehri was not authorised to suspend membership of Nawab Aslam Raisani.
He said that party would take action against Zehri for tarnishing the image of CM Balochistan and violating party discipline.
Earlier, PPP Provincial President Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani addressing doctors protest rally emphasised for the formation of a new governmental structure in the province.
Referring to kidnapping for ransom incidents, Umrani demanded of the Federal government to declare Balochistan government led by Nawab Aslam Raisani as incompetent.
