‘Balochistan one of top priorities’

ISLAMABAD - Nawab Aslam Raisani, Chief Minister Balochistan, called on Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf at Prime Minister's House Monday and discussed with him the prevailing situation in the province.
The Prime Minister said that Balochistan is one of the top most priorities of his government and he was taking personal interest to raise the standard of living of the people.
The Prime Minister reiterated that he had directed all the Federal agencies to cooperate with the provincial administration in tracing the missing persons." I have directed the Chief Secretary Balochistan to comply with the orders of Supreme Court in letter and spirit", said the Prime Minister.
Further he added that The Federal Government was keen to develop the Province and had approved a special package for the purpose and The Ministry of Finance had been directed to release all requisite funds for the completion of on-going projects of Balochistan on priority. The Prime Minister said that he had directed release of Rs. 6 billion for completion of KACHHI canal on which the work had now been taken up on fast track basis. “The early completion of all these projects and the employment of Baloch Youth would help bring prosperity to the area,” said the Prime Minister.
The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister for the support of the Federal Government and the personal interest of the Prime Minister in the development of Balochistan.
