QUETTA - Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani has termed the criticism of the provincial government regrettable, saying that it showed the political bankruptcy of the political leaders.
Criticising the statement of a political leader, he said that bring the true representatives of the people to govern was contradictory to the democratic principles, adding that a democratically elected government was already functioning in the province which included an alliance of all the political parties. Chief Minister Balochistan said that such statements degraded the public mandate, adding that not only Balochistan government had solved the issues of the masses but had also developed a political consensus for the political issues of the province.
Criticizing the statement of a provincial leader that Balochistan was in the clutches of corrupt leaders, he said that it was quite easy to blame but difficult to prove them. “If somebody has such reservations, he should also bring evidences. We invite those all open-heartedly who blame Balochistan government to come and visit. We would show them the accomplished and on-going development schemes in Balochistan,” said the CM.
Mr. Raisani said that when he took the reins of the government, he inherited huge challenges and issues. “We accepted these challenges, along with the allied parties and brought a discernible change in the province, “he claimed. He said that the release of the political prisoners, withdrawal of the political cases, restoration of the economic situation of the province, ending the over-draft, increase of the Balochistan share in NFC award, Balochistan government’s authority over Rekodek, Saindak and Gwadar port were the success of his government. He said that his government had taken a clear stance on the missing persons’ issues in accordance with the aspirations of the people of the province and had expressed its stance over every forum without any fear.
