KARACHI - The combined Opposition in the Sindh Assembly comprising PML-F, PML-Q, PML-Likeminded, NPP and ANP on Monday came down hard on PPP, terming the ruling party as “traitor” of Sindh province. They called the new legislation “black law”.PML-F’s Parliamentary leader and former Opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly Jam Madad Ali Khan, while talking to the media after the Sindh Assembly session slammed the adopting of the controversial Local Government Ordinance.He termed the enforcement of the controversial Ordinance more harmful than the Ayub Khan’s One Unit.The Opposition lawmakers announced that they will initiate their struggle against the “black law” of the Local Government, under which dual system of the governments have been imposed in the province. He stated the session was hastily summoned to approve the bill. Shahryar Mahar of PML-Q said that the passage of SPLGO from Sindh Assembly was sheer injustice with people of Sindh province.He said PPP will face problems in next elections due to its stance on Local Government system.Masroor Jatoi of National Peoples Party said PPP proved itself to be what he called traitor of Sindh and the NPP sees the SPLGO as a “black law”.
