ISLAMABAD  - A spokesman of the Prime Minister has said that Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has announced a sum of Rs 500,000 for Revtash Kumar who belongs to a poor family of Rahimyar Khan and had secured top position in matriculation examination.
Revtash Kumar wants to become a doctor but cannot afford to continue his education because his shoemaker father earns Rs 100-150 per day.
In response to an appeal made by his father, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf announced a grant of Rs 500,000 for Revtash Kumar, besides bearing all his educational expenses.
