RAWALPINDI - Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya, Commander Sri Lankan Army called on General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee here at Joint Staff Headquarters on Monday. The visiting dignitary remained with the chairman for sometimes and discussed matters related to professional interests. General Jayasuria also called on Pakistan’s Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and discussed bilateral relations with emphasis on security and defence related aspects between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Earlier on arrival, the Sri Lankan dignitary was presented a Guard of Honour at Yadgar-e-Shuhada, General Head Quarters (GHQ).
