Traders seek rulers ouster

OUR STAFF REPORTER OKARA - Punjab Education Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman expressed his condolence with the heirs of martyr Hafiz Manzoor Hussain who was killed in last Saturdays Nato attack in Mohmund Agency, at his house in 17/GD. He also laid a floral wreath at his grave. The minister said the Punjab government strongly condemned the cross-border Nato air strikes and raised a voice at every forum. He said no one can dare cast an evil eye on Pakistan. On this occasion, MPA Mian Yawar Zaman said the whole nation is proud of shaheed army men who lost their lives in the attacks. MPA Chaudhry Nadeem Abbas said three persons of the family have already embraced martyrdom and they have resolutions and courage. The government should take strict action on the issue and extend financial support t the bereaved families. Against Nato attack in Mohmund Agency, Central Anjuman Tajran Okara took out a protest rally in the district. Anjuman President Chaudhry Saleem Sadiq, General Secretary Malik Qadeer Hussain led rally. Besides, workers of the PML-N and Jamaat-e-Islami also participated in the protest. Addressing the rally, speakers said the attack is on their sovereignty, adding that the government has failed in protecting states boundaries. If ruling parties are unable to stop such attacks, they should quit the government. Now their nuclear programme can also be fallen in the hands of Nato. Having been united, 170 million people of Pakistan can compel the government to get rid of American influence, they said.
