Levies nabs five outlaws, seizes explosives

QUETTA - The Levies on Saturday rounded up five accused and seized arms and explosives from their possession in the restive Dera Bugti district.

Reportedly, Dera Bugti Levies, during a search in Pir Koh area, arrested fives accused and recovered arms and explosives from their possession. “Four hand grenades and 12-kg explosive material were seized from them,” sources said. An official of local administration, Ata Muhammad Bugti, said those arrested were being investigated. The accused were identified as Naqeeb, Imam Bakhsh, Muhammad Bakhsh, Ahmad Bakhsh and Allah Bakhsh.
In another incident, the police recovered three kidnapped persons and arrested two kidnappers in Dera Allah Yar, besides seizing illegal weapons from their custody. A police party of Dera Allah Yar, headed by ASP Samiullah Soomro, raided a house in Dera Allah Yar and recovered Muhammad Judeel, Qurban Ali and Dost Muhammad who were kidnapped last month from the National Highway connecting Balochistan with Sindh. The police also arrested two kidnappers, Shehzada and Sharbat, and recovered weapons from their possession.
The Dera Allah Yar SHO told media people that the raid was carried out on the secret information furnished by Jafarabad DPO Zulfiqar Ali Laduk. The SHO added the kidnappers were demanding millions of rupees as ransom.
