Protest against implication in false case

MIRPURKHAS - Scores of Ghosia Jamaat and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) office-bears and workers took out a protest rally against implicating of Ghosia Jamaat Umerkot President Arbab Presid Ali Samjejo in a false case.

Ghosia Jamaat District President Noor Mohammad Siaal, Zubair Khan and Jaffar Dal lead the rally here on Saturday.
The protest rally started from railway station roundabout protesters marched through the main road.
The protesters were carrying banners and placards demanding withdrawal of the false cases and release of Arbab Presid Ali Samjejo.
Raising slogans against slogans against Provincial Minister Syed Ali Mardan Shah and Umerkot police, the protester reached outside the local press club where they staged a sit in.
Speaking on the occasion, Noor Mohammad Sial alleged that Ghausia Jamaat leaders were being politically victimized and Arbab Ali Samejo was implicated in false case by Umerkot Police on the behest of above provincial minister Ali Mardan Shah for occupying the government plot.
He warned that Ghosia Jamaat and Pakistan Tehreek Insaf would jointly resist the present rulers and ministers.
He said that Ghosia Jamaat was a strong Jamaat and with its support the PPP leaders had been elected in election in interior Sindh in the past.
He lamented that Arbab Ali Samjeo was kept at far flung police station and the police was not allowing anyone to see him. He alleged that he was being tortured in police detention.
He demanded Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry to take immediate notice of implication in false case of their innocent leader.
He urged to withdraw the false case and release the detained leader without any delay and stop any illegal step of torturing him in detention otherwise, he warned, the Ghosia Jamaat will be compelled to stage country wide protest along with the PTI.
PTI Leader Zubair Khan said that his party will not tolerate any political victimization against its workers and office-bearers in the country and demanded the higher authorities to withdraw the false case and release Ghausia Jamaat leader.
District president Sindh United party Mirpurkhas Masood Wassan blamed that present rulers were looting the government resources adding that the PPP tenure was near to end and its leaders should avoid political victimization.
Budho Keerio of Sindh Tarraqi Passand party also spoke on the occasion.
Man commits suicide: A 25-year-old man who gulped pesticide two days back in a suicide attempt, died here at Civil Hospital on Saturday.
Reportedly, Muhammad Javed, son of Nabi Bux Khaskheli, resident of Waghreji Village had attempted to end his life over domestic issue by gulping down pesticide two days.
He was brought to Civil Hospital in critical condition where doctors provided him first aid and admitted for further treatment. However, he was died here on Saturday due to poison spread in his body. He was father of a child.
