ARIFWALA - The candidates of Friends and Professionals group, contesting for the Tehsil Bar Association election 2012, submitted their nomination papers. The election is scheduled to be held on January 14. On the other hand, the Election Board declared the elections of two candidates unopposed here on Monday.
The Bar Association Arifwala election will be held on Jan 14. An election board has also been set up under the Chairmanship of Mian Akram Abbsi.
Two group of the lawyers community were contesting the Bar election 2012. The Professional Group filed the nomination papers here on Monday. Candidate for bar president slot Afzal Naeem, for Secretary Khalid Joya, for Voice President, Shahid Rasool for Finance Secretary Nasreen Nazeer for Auditor in other while Friends group for President Ameer Hamza Dogar and Rai Rafeeq, for General Secretary Tahir Abbas, for Voice President Mohib Ali, for Finance Secretary Mohammad Ramzan and for auditor Mushtaq Shah here on Monday.
After scrutiny Election Board Chairman declared Mian Khalid Naseem for Joint Secretary and Farooq Bloch for Library secretary unopposed. Both the groups have started election campaign.
