QUETTA - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that he has no idea whose agenda Tahirul Qadri is following but state without politics is a ‘wrong’ philosophy.

Talking to the media at the Quetta airport, Fazlur Rehman said: “Qadri is a failed politician and a frustrated man. I do not know whose game he is playing and who is pulling his strings.” He said that a situation was being created to strengthen anti-democratic forces, adding that JUI-F would not become a part of the game derailing democratic system. “Some forces are making efforts to weaken the democracy but they would not be successful. He said that dictators had always imposed martial law in the name of security.
He asserted that nobody could harm democracy, if all institutions work within their limits.
To a question, he said that the continuation of democracy could promote and strengthen democracy in the country.
