ISLAMABAD - Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Asif Sandila met the Auditor General of Pakistan Muhammad Akhtar Buland Rana in his office here at Islamabad on Wednesday.

During the meeting matters of mutual interest were discussed, particularly matters related to audit of Naval Accounts and working of Controller Naval Accounts (CNA).  It was mutually agreed that the forum of Departmental Accounts Committee should be actively utilised so that issues are discussed and version of Auditee formations may also be considered before finalisation of the reports and onward submission to Public Accounts Committee (PAC) for discussion. During this important meeting, the Auditor General and Chief of Naval Staff agreed upon strict accountability and proper utilisation of funds for betterment of the country.
