KARAK - Allama Iqbal Open University, Regional Director, Maqbool Ilahi has stressed upon the tutors to facilitate the students in the study centres and resolve their problems to make sure the imparting of quality education to the students of backward districts.
Maqbool Ilahi was addressing the tutors of AIOU here on Monday at Higher Secondary School Karak and a large number of tutors were present on the occasion.
He briefly threw light on the importance of distance education and claimed that AIOU has brought a revolution in the world of knowledge and provided an opportunity to poor, on job and people of all walks of life to get education on their doorsteps. The regional director stressed on the tutors to make sure the holding of meeting with the students in study centres on monthly basis.
