QUETTA - Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani has summoned provincial Cabinet meeting in Gwadar, the winter capital of Balochistan, on November 9.

According to an official handout issued on Friday, all members of Cabinet were asked to ensure their attendance in the meeting which would be held in Gwadar on November 9.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf would also meet the members of Balochistan Cabinet. It is worth mentioning here that the Cabinet meeting of Balochistan was postponed twice in Quetta due to what CM Secretariat sources said illness of the Chief Minister.
The move follows Balochistan Assembly Speaker Aslam Bhootani’s refusal to summon assembly session on the advice of the chief minister.
The chief minister had written a letter to the Balochistan Assembly Secretariat to summon a session on November 9-10 in Gwadar, which was to be attended by the prime minister. Bhootani was of the view that after the Supreme Court’s interim order, calling the assembly session on the advice of the CM would be contempt of court.
