LOWER DIR  - A police constable was killed and four others were injured when unknown militants opened firing at a police mobile van in Lower Dir on Sunday. According to details, unidentified armed militants opened indiscriminate firing at a police van while it was on a routine patrol near Jandol, resultantly, a police constable was killed while four others sustained injuries in the attack.  The police van was damaged in the incident. The militants managed to flee from the scene after committing the crime. The injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Timergara for treatment, where they are stated to be stable. Police and forces launched a search action in the area.In another incident, militants opened firing at a cop at Karkarai camp in district Hangu, resultantly police constable Habib ur Rehman sustained injuries. He was rushed to district headquarters hospital. Police registered an FIR and started investigations into the incident.
